ROH Wheels Australia Privacy Policy

Updated July 2026

ROH Wheels Australia ("ROH", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information through our website, roh.com.au, and through our other promotional and business activities.

We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Information about the APPs is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au. This Privacy Policy is governed by, and should be read in accordance with, the laws of Australia.

Where it is lawful and practicable to do so, you have the option of dealing with us anonymously or by using a pseudonym. In many cases, however, we will need your contact details to respond to an enquiry or provide the information you have requested.

What personal information we collect

Most of our website can be viewed without giving us any personal information. You may choose to provide personal information when you contact us, subscribe to our email newsletter, submit an enquiry or Request a Quote, or enter a competition or promotion.

The information we collect may include:

  • your name;

  • your email address;

  • your phone number (for example, when you submit an enquiry or Request a Quote);

  • your postcode or location, where relevant to matching you with a nearby authorised dealer;

  • any other information you choose to give us relevant to your enquiry.

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business activities, including responding to enquiries, processing quote requests, providing customer support, sending marketing communications you have requested, and improving our products and services.

We do not generally collect sensitive information. If we need to collect sensitive information, we will only do so where permitted or required by law, or with your consent.

If you choose not to provide information

If you choose not to provide the personal information we request, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, put you in contact with an authorised dealer, or supply the services or information you have requested.

How we collect your information

We collect personal information directly from you when you enter it into a form on our website, subscribe to our communications, enter a promotion, or contact us by phone, email or post. We may also collect it when you interact with our social media pages.

We may also collect non-identifying technical information automatically when you visit our website, including your browser type and version, operating system, the pages you view, access times, and the website you came from. We use this to understand how our website is used and to improve it.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide the information or quote you have requested;

  • refer your quote request to an authorised ROH dealer;

  • send you follow-up reminders by email about a quote or enquiry you have submitted;

  • send you newsletters and marketing communications where you have subscribed or otherwise consented to receiving them;

  • run competitions and promotions;

  • improve our website, products and services.

We will only use your personal information for the purpose you gave it to us, a related purpose you would reasonably expect, or a purpose you have consented to.

Dealer quote requests

If you submit a Request a Quote through our website, the information you provide may be shared with one or more authorised ROH dealers selected to respond to your request. Those dealers will use your information only for the purpose of contacting you about your enquiry or quote.

Authorised dealers are independent businesses and are responsible for their own handling of your personal information once it is provided to them. If you would prefer your details not to be shared with a dealer, please contact us using the details below.

Dealer Portal

We operate a Dealer Portal for authorised ROH dealers. Where you register for or use the Dealer Portal, we collect and use business contact details and account information — such as your name, business name, business email address, phone number and login credentials — for the purposes of creating and administering your account, managing and responding to quote requests, providing dealer support, and communicating with you about ROH products, pricing and programs.

Direct marketing and how to opt out

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will send you marketing communications about ROH products, news and promotions. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or by contacting us using the details below. We do not send marketing text messages.

Reminders relating to a specific quote or enquiry you have submitted are not marketing, and are sent by email so we can follow up on your request.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

To improve your experience, our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device that helps the site remember your preferences. The cookies we use may include:

  • essential cookies, which are required for the website to function;

  • analytics cookies, which help us understand how the website is used;

  • advertising cookies, which help us show you relevant ROH advertising.

You can refuse cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not work fully if you do.

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address and browsing activity and transmits it to Google servers, which may be located overseas. Google collects and processes this information in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on Google provides. CloudFlare Turnstile may be used on the website for anti-spam purposes, please refer to their privacy policy.

We may also use advertising and remarketing tools, including the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel and Google Ads, which use cookies to show you relevant ROH advertising on other websites and platforms. You can manage ad personalisation through your Google and Meta account settings.

Our website may contain links to, and interfaces with, other websites and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies. If you "like" or "share" our content, the relevant platform may connect that action to your account.

Online purchases

Some products may be purchased through our online store, which is powered by Shopify. If you make a purchase, your payment information is securely processed by Shopify and its payment providers. ROH does not store your full credit card details. Please refer to Shopify's Privacy Policy for information about how Shopify handles your personal information.

How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only disclose it as described in this Privacy Policy, or where required or authorised by law.

We may share your personal information with third parties who provide services to us, such as website hosting and security, e-commerce, email delivery, analytics and advertising, digital asset management, and marketing and IT support. Providers we currently use include Shopify, Cloudflare, Google, Meta, Klaviyo, Microsoft 365 and Filecamp. These providers are only given the information they need to perform their service for us, and we take reasonable steps to ensure they are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations.

We may also disclose your personal information to authorised ROH dealers as described above, and where required or authorised by law, including to comply with legal obligations, court orders or law enforcement requests.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store or process data overseas, including in the United States. In particular, our email and newsletter platform (Klaviyo) stores information in the United States, and our analytics, advertising and hosting providers (including Google, Meta, Shopify and Cloudflare) may store and process information in the United States and other countries.

The privacy laws in those countries may differ from Australian privacy laws. Where we disclose your information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

De-identified and aggregated information

We may use de-identified or aggregated information for reporting, analytics, and improving our products and services. This information does not identify you.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect the information we hold.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data breaches

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, subject to exceptions allowed by law. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may ask you to put your request in writing and to verify your identity for security reasons.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). Information about making a complaint is available at www.oaic.gov.au.
